In Asia, the iTunes Store is maneuvering and muscling for rank; Google+ for tablets is pouring through the turns; and one Twitter user points out that Apple is still thinking of the classic designer for whom it still burns. The remainders for Wednesday, June 27, 2012 are going for speed.

Apple rolled out the iTunes Store in a dozen new countries this week, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam. Justin Bieber is one step closer to his goal of total world domination.

If you're one of the people waiting for a Google+ client for the iPad, well then that day is ... coming soon. The company announced it would be rolling out Google+ for Android tablets on Wednesday, with the iPad in the near future. Then again, if you're one of the people waiting for a Google+ client for the iPad, you probably already know this, because you're a Google engineer.

Next time you head in to renew your driver's license, you may be greeted by a kiosk powered by an iPad. At least, in Tennessee. Sorry, other 49 states!

If you cannot to get started making your own passes for iOS 6's Passbook, then, well that's a little weird. But weird or not, there's now a site called PassSource, which lets you create test passes. I just don't recommend trying to board a plane with them, unless you happen to enjoy the conversational stylings of TSA agents.

Apple's pays homage to designer Dieter Rams's TG 60 tape recorder. But, to Rams's credit, his still looks more like a face if you squint at it.
