ZOTAC Expands GeForce 9600 GSO Family

ZOTAC is shipping three new NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GSO based graphics cards -- the GeForce 9600 GSO 512MB, GeForce 9600 GSO 1GB and GeForce 9600 GSO 512MB AMP! Edition. The Geforce 9800 GSO is powered by 48 stream processors, with a clock speed of 650MHz (700 MHz for the AMP! Edition) and a memory clock of 1800MHz (2000MHz for the AMP! Edition).

The CUDA technology that is supported by these cards transforms them into a high-performance processor capable of speeding up video encoding tasks and complex mathematical calculations. The NVIDIA PhysX technology empowers the ZOTAC GeForce 9600 GSO series with realistic physics capabilities, providing real-time physics calculations for realistic visual and environmental interaction effects.

Like other NVIDIA chips, the 9600 supports PureVideo HD technology for playback of high definition content. PureVideo HD also enhances standard definition video content to near high-definition levels of visual quality, for a near-HD visual experience with existing content.
