26.10.2009
Well, that didn't take long. Two months after Lucasarts , along comes one of the greatest SNES games of all time. This week, in accordance with All Hallow's Eve, Lucasarts is unleashing the horror-comedy game Zombies Ate My Neighbors on the Virtual console. ZAMN joins a whopping five games headed to the Wii Shop Channel this week, including Golden Axe for the Sega Genesis wing of the Virtual Console, Tales of Monkey Island: Chapter 3 and Ghost Mansion Party for WiiWare, as well as Sudoku and PictureBook Games: The Royal Bluff for DSiWare.

You can find out more about all of the games in the press release below, but you needn't know another thing about Zombies Ate My Neighbors except that it's absolutely, positively, one of the funnest 16-bit experiences of all time. Go buy it now. I'll wait.

Boo! As the year's spookiest holiday draws near, this week's additions to the Wii(tm) Shop Channel and Nintendo DSi(tm) Shop are ready to put some extra chills and thrills into your Halloween week. The WiiWare(tm) service invites you to explore a ghostly mansion or face menacing foes in a new Tales of Monkey Island adventure. On the Virtual Console(tm), battle zombies and other supernatural creatures in a Super NES(tm) classic, or ward off evil forces in the legendary arcade game Golden Axe(tm). For Nintendo DSiWare(tm) users, a portable PictureBook Games(tm) title delivers nifty tricks, while sudoku solvers are in for a real treat. And speaking of treats, Wii owners who have their Wii consoles connected to the Internet should check out the Nintendo Week show on Nintendo Channel for an exclusive WiiWare announcement of a fresh take on an 8-bit classic.
