Update fixes font display, printing problems in Snow Leopard

A software update released by Apple Tuesday promises to take on issues with displaying and printing certain OpenType fonts in Snow Leopard.

Apple recommends the 3.77MB for all Mac OS X 10.6.7 users. According to its , the update addresses a problem where some OpenType fonts wouldn't display correctly in some applications. It also lets users print from Preview without further hassle. Additional fixes include an issue with PDF files not opening in third-party PDF viewing applications and invalid font errors when users tried to print to PostScript printers.
