Uncharted 2 wins three E3 '09 Game Critics Awards

When nominations for the Game Critics Awards "Best of E3" were announced, Tim Schafer's and Naughty Dog's were neck and neck with four nominations apiece. Looks like it's the year of Nathan Drake (or at least the E3 year of Nathan Drake), as Uncharted 2 walked away with three awards, including "Best of Show", while Brutal Legend was left empty handed.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves not only won the coveted "Best of Show" award, but also nabbed "Best Console Game" and "Best Action/Adventure Game" beating out the likes of . I'm sure Kratos won't be too happy about that one.

was also a big winner, taking away two awards from the "Best Original Game" and "Best Handheld Game" categories. Looks like the inventive charm of the little DS title was enough to put it over such big titles as Brutal Legend, , , and .
