TransACT named as latest RSP choice for the NBN

30.06.2011
Regional telco TransACT has been named as the latest retail service provider (RSP) to work on the National Broadband Network (NBN).

TransACT has signed a first release sites trial agreement, agreeing to provide fibre-to-the-premise (FTTP) services from the NBN, as well as FTTP for existing ACT customers.

CEO of TransACT, Ivan Slavich, said in a statement the company has already begun working on the on-boarding testing process with NBN Co, but would continue to deliver FTTP and other services to its existing customers.

"TransACT has been delivering FTTP voice, video and ISP solutions since 2007 so we are well suited to being an RSP on the NBN," Slavich said.

"As an RSP on the NBN we will continue to deliver superior products and services to our customers, complementary to our existing networks in the ACT and regional Victoria."
