Top 10 Smart Grid Blog Posts of 2010

Yesterday I compiled a list of the most popular clean energy blog posts of 2010 in the IDC Energy Insights community. Today it's time to do the same for our smart grid blog. As with the clean energy blog, I do this partially because it's expected, partially because it's fun and partially because we can infer which topics were the most important to our followers.

Our top smart grid blog post involved GridPoint, the highly hyped and well funded smart grid vendor that probably holds a record for business strategy changes.

Other vendors that were the topic of at least one of the top ten blog posts include CSC, Bass & Co., Accenture, ABB, Ventyx and Grid Net.

Other topics that made the top ten list included electric vehicles, mergers and acquisitions, ICT budgets, smart cities, and the ever popular preview of our top 10 predictions.
