While this isn't the first time Activision has casually brought up , it's good to hear this from a trusted source (who better to trust than the friggin' CEO?) and interesting to note that DJ Hero is now confirmed for a 2009 launch. Stay tuned for more details.

This morning sat down with Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick, who amid insight into the current of the video game industry, casually mentions to the reporter that Activison has "this product called DJ Hero coming out later this year which is a turntable that you can actually play competitively, spin discs and mix songs."
