In keeping with this bi-lateral corporate initiative, Redington will play liaison between Socomec and its channel partners for Socomec's 8-60 KVA, 3-phase UPS systems throughout India. This move comes close on the heels of Socomec setting up its fully owned subsidiary in India to take a handgrip of its marketing, distribution and retailing processes.

Socomec, which has 14 offices across the country to support its Sales & Service function, has an 11% market share in the Indian UPS Market. With ambitious plans to grow exponentially, it has engaged Redington India, which is the second largest distributor of IT products in India servicing over 14,000 channel partners with over 60 leading brands.
