Smarten Up Your Message With Universal College Demo Font

30.07.2012
Whether you're attending Yale or the School of Hard Knocks, Universal College Demo (free for personal use; $39 for commercial use) will make sure everyone knows it. A True Type font from Fonts Cafe, the ubiquitous college logo font is made extra special in Universal College with a notebook-sketched look, a bit rough around the edges.

The demo version of Universal College contains only upper case letters: no lowercase, numbers, punctuation, or special characters. Fortunately, kerning is spot-on, and even though the horizontal edges of the glyphs can waver, the height of the letters does not. Firmly a display font, using Universal College at 36 points and larger is fun; at that size, typing in all caps is somewhat cathartic.

Note: Universal College Demo is free for personal use; commercial users must pay $39. To use this font, unzip the folder and install the .ttf file in the folder C:\Windows\Fonts. Note that the font won't appear in your applications until you close and re-open it. For more guidance see .
