The fifth paragraph of the story "SAP customers must act quickly to avoid higher support fees," posted to the wire Sept. 18, has been modified to reflect new information about SAP's pricing policy. The story has been modified on the wire and the fifth paragraph now reads:

While SAP will tout many benefits of customer specific maintenance, he said, including the fact that SAP promises to maintain the same price rate as the existing maintenance programme with no lower rate. However, he warned, there will be no new tax and regulatory updates, no new fixes, no new support packages or direct upgrade paths for new releases, and no SLA's for service and support.
