Broken iPhone? Take it to court! Meanwhile, streaming video consumers apparently prefer the big screen, and Apple can't define obscenity, but sure knows what it looks like when you want to laser-etch it into one of its products. The remainders for Friday, January 28, 2011

The so-called scandal returns as a Los Angeles resident files a class action suit against Apple for misrepresenting the strength of the iPhone 4's glass exterior. Apparently Donald LeBuhn's iPhone 4 shattered when dropped three feet to the ground--a fate not encountered by his previous iPhone 3GS. We hope he didn't test this theory by repeatedly hurling them both to the ground, but we find ourselves unable to rule out the possibility.

In a letter to its shareholders, Netflix mentioned that the Apple TV recently passed the iPad in terms of viewing hours. Proving people probably prefer to watch movies on a 50-inch TV over a 9-inch tablet. Surprise!
