Looks like Apple's whipping out the shrink-ray for the iPhone. Elsewhere, HP poaches another Apple executive, Verizon begins slooooowly taking market share from AT&T, and iAd apparently has nothing worth snapping up. The remainders for Thursday, February 10, 2011 are yours for the taking.

I don't know about you folks, but when I look at my iPhone 4, I don't exactly think of it as a hulking brute. Still, it appears that Apple may be aiming for something a bit smaller--an "iPhone nano," as the long-rumored product has been dubbed. Then again, if they make the iPhone any smaller, they'll have to make a 3-inch iPad, and then things will have really gone off the rails.

Richard Kerris, former Senior Director of Worldwide Developer Relations at Apple, has a new gig at HP as the firm's of Worldwide Developer Relations. That means if the president of Worldwide Developer Relations kicks it, he's totally got the gig, right?
