A 25-year-old man, Farzin Adeli, has filed for a copyright of the now iconic image of Apple's logo, where the bite is replaced by Steve Jobs's silhouette. There's some controversy, however, over just who came up with the image first. Fortunately, the Internet is really good at sorting out these kinds of disputes.

The two men accused of from a bar in April of 2010 have been sentenced to a year's probation, along with community service and a fine. The San Mateo district attorney ended up not going after the Gizmodo editors who purchased the stolen phone, but he remarked in court that the editors' exchanges among themselves were "juvenile." To which Gizmodo officially replied, "ARE NOT."
