PSN Release of Mortal Kombat's Skarlet Delayed in Europe

The PS3 release of the character Skarlet in Europe has hit a bit of a snag, prompting Warner Bros. to delay its release another week. (via )

As it turns out, the character DLC never made it onto the European PlayStation Network. Instead, Mortal Kombat fans found a costume pack that was priced at nearly twice of what it costs in the U.S.

Warner Bros. is changing the price back to £3.19 for the UK and €3.99 for the rest of Europe. Skarlet, however, has been delayed in Europe .

On our side of the pond, some Xbox 360 users found that redeeming the Kombat pass boosted the Skarlet DLC to 1200 MS Points, rather than being free. The problem has reportedly been corrected though.

Altogether, a bit of a rough patch for Mortal Kombat's downloadable content. We'll see if Warner Bros. learns from the experience and smooths things out for the next release.
