New Zealand Police have made two arrests in connection with the Telecom New Zealand Ltd. 027 voice mail vulnerability revealed by Computerworld last week.

A statement released by police says a 16-year-old Auckland youth and a 19-year-old Hamilton man were arrested Wednesday morning and will appear in the Auckland Youth and Hamilton District Courts this afternoon, charged with unauthorized access of a computer.

?The arrests follow a short but intensive investigation into the alleged ?hacking? of some mobile phone voice mailboxes,? the statement says.
