Philippine outsourcer targets verification services

Philippine-based call center operator Pilipinas Teleserv Inc. is looking grow its international business by focusing on "third-party verification" services.

Third-party verification refers to a service outsourced by outbound telemarketing companies to validate customer sales completed over the phone.

Since it started in 2001, Teleserv has focused on providing call center services for government agencies Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and National Statistics Office (NSO) for public services such as passport renewal and procurement of legal documents.
