Naruto: Developer Would Love To Finish Mega Man Legends 3

Maybe we've been going about this thing all wrong.

Maybe all Capcom needs is someone to foot the development costs so that they can get Mega Man Legends 3 out the door and see how well it actually does.

, Hiroshi Matsuyama, CEO and President of CyberConnect2 (the company that made Asura's Wrath and the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm series) said that he's be more than happy to take the reins of the cancelled project. I'm not going to lie -- I really like the Ultimate Ninja Storm games, and I think that CyberConnect would be a perfect fit for the project. Let's hope Capcom takes them up on their offer, though.

From the source, Matsuyama, on which Capcom franchise he wants to do next:

"It would be Mega Man Legends 3," exclaimed Matsuyama in a Siliconera interview. "I really like the series!" Just this week Capcom canceled the Mega Man Legends 3 project for Nintendo 3DS where fans collaborated with the development staff on creating a sequel. Matsuyama said he was disappointed by that announcement. CyberConnect2's work on Solatorobo and Tail Concerto could be a foundation for a Mega Man Legends sequel too. Would any fans "green light" a Mega Man Legends game from the Fukuoka based developer?
