MySQL AB announced the general availability of a set of graphical query and administration tools for its popular MySQL open source database. MySQL Query Browser, a toolset for creating and debugging MySQL database queries in a graphical environment, gives users an easy way to access and analyze information stored within MySQL database servers. MySQL Administrator is a visual console that enables DBAs to easily manage and monitor their MySQL environments. MySQL Query Browser and MySQL Administrator are available now. The new MySQL Query Browser and MySQL Administrator for Linux and Windows can be downloaded from the MySQL Developer Zone. Developers can choose between an open source (GPL) or commercial MySQL license. A commercial license of the MySQL Administration Suite bundle is priced at US$295 per developer.
