MultiG®®Q Speeds up Complicated Google Searches

28.05.2009
Luckily, using is easier than trying to pronounce its name. This free utility lets you streamline the process when you need to search for several phrases in Google.

MultiG®®Q does not require any installation; it's a small executable file that you download and run whenever you'd like to use it. You can enter your search strings (such as "pcworld cassavoy downloads" or "photolapse panama canal") in the program's main window, entering one search string on each line. You then click a button to generate a "G®®gle" search page. This is not a true Google page, but an HTML-based page created by MultiG®®Q that contains links to Google results pages for your search strings. You click on those links to go to the actual Google pages.

If you'd like to create multiple searches that all have some phrases in common, MultiG®®Q also has a box at the top, labeled "Optional Xtra G®®gle strings"; here you can enter two words and these will be added to all of the search strings you enter below.

If you're using Google to conduct lots of searches for phrases that contain multiple words, MultiG®®Q will save you some time. For everyone else, MultiG®®Q is probably more search power than you need.
