Marshal now owns the intellectual property and technical assets of NetIQ MailMarshal, NetIQ WebMarshal, NetIQ Security Reporting Center and NetIQ Firewall Suite.

South Africa distributor of NetIQ products, 10Net, states that the new deal will not impact negatively on the distribution of Marshal products in SA. "All agreements between NetIQ and 10Net relating to the Marshal products have been moved across to the new company, and everything continues as usual," says Riaan Otto, GM of 10Net.

Marshal staff numbers jumped from 17 to 55 since the company's inception in mid-December last year. Ed Macnair, CEO of Marshal Limited, expects the number of staff to reach 110 by the end of March.
