14.10.2008
Malaysian information technology professionals seeking certification and training can now benefit from a new collaboration between a government agency and US-based ISACA.

The collaboration is between Malaysia's Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) and Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).

According to executives from both organizations, employees in Malaysia's Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) status companies can pursue ISACA training and certification as a certified information systems auditor (CISA) and certified information security manager (CISM).

Government support includes a 50- to 75-percent reimbursement of certification and training fees for individuals or companies who pursue this skills enhancement opportunity.

Founded in 1969, ISACA manages IT governance, control, security and assurance in more than 160 countries. Malaysia's chapter has more than 500 ISACA members.
