Magic center Dwight Howard to grace NBA Live 10 cover

The Magic are down 2-1 to the LA Lakers in the NBA Finals and Kobe Bryant was announced as the cover athlete for 2K Sports's , so what does EA Sports do? They go out and get the other NBA Finals superstar, Magic center Dwight Howard to serve as the coverboy for NBA Live 10.

Standing 6'11 and weighing 265 lbs, Howard was named the league's defensive player of the year this season averaging 2.9 blocks, 12.5 rebounds and 20.6 points per game; And all of this only at the age of 23!

"We're extremely excited to have Dwight Howard on the cover of NBA LIVE 10," said the game's producer Marcus Stephenson. "A lot of us here in the studio have been playing the game with the updated Dynamic DNA against the Lakers, and he's a force in LIVE.

Most critics agree that left much to be desired and most gamers, looking for the best simulation of the sport possible, turned to . Stephenson alludes to some of the improvements that the developers have been making which may confirm what EA Sports' president Peter Moore said weeks ago about Live once again becoming the best basketball sim on the market.

It appears that the dev team is working on everything from drastically improved net and rim physics to a bunch of other gameplay fixes that should excite fans including the next step in the evolution of Dynamic DNA.
