Klout Klock Tracks Your Social Network Presence

If you are an avid user of social networks (in either in a personal or business capacity) then you may have already heard of Klout. If not, is a handy website that, using ranking algorithms, works out what influence you have over friends or followers. This could mean how many people interact with you, project your updates and so on. Then, based on these algorithms, you get a Klout score and style. All you need is a Twitter, and/or Facebook, and/or Linkedin to join.

really liked the idea of sharing and interacting with those around you, and wanted to be able to to check on his Klout statistics quickly throughout the day: enter the . The "Klock" pulls all of his Klout information, such as his overall score, network, influencers, style and amplification, as well as being able to tell the time and date. Pretty useful.

Using his Klout account's API key, Fabien created the Klout Klock using a , SD card-turned-virtual memory and a little for the screen. To get the data onto the screen, each segment is displayed as an image, contained in the virtual memory. The rest involves a little bit of coding and "VirtualFrame" to get the mod working, which is detailed in the .
