Intel introduces bundles for SMBs

17.08.2006
Chipmaker Intel Corp. recently launched three business bundles -- each consisting of an Intel-powered desktop, notebook and a server -- targeted at the small and medium business (SMB) market in partnership with hardware makers like Lenovo and local software vendors.

Intel also maintains its partnership with Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT) to provide connectivity options. It also announced partnerships with Banco De Oro and Planters' Bank to provide SMBs with payment options.

Called 'SMB Essentials', the program includes partnerships with independent software vendors (ISVs) like SEER, 8 Layer, Biometrix, Lane Systems, Mustard Seed and ERP (enterprise resource planning) vendor Jupiter Systems.
