Infocomm Singapore sweeps awards

Team Singapore sparkled with 3 Winner and 6 Merit Awards at this year's Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards held in Jakarta, Indonesia.

APICTA is a prominent Asia Pacific Information and Communications Technology (ICT) event held annually since 2001. It provides a platform for innovators and entrepreneurs in the ICT sectors to benchmark their products against each other.

According to APICTA, Singapore infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF) submitted 20 nominations from 16 companies to compete at the awards. They won a total of 9 awards out of the 126 nominations received for the 16 categories from 11 member-economies.

The Singapore infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF) is Singapore's premier infocomm industry association.

Accolades for infocomm innovation in Asia Pacific

The nine Singapore companies were presented the APICTA Awards, the highest accolade for infocomm innovation in Asia Pacific for its recognition in innovative research & development, e-Learning, e-Inclusion & e-Community, security applications, e-Logistic & supply chain management, communications applications, and secondary student project, said APICTA.
