HP has launched what it claims is the world's first mobile all-in-one printer, allowing business users to print, copy and scan documents while on the go.

Measuring 350x171x90mm, the Officejet 150 Mobile All-in-One is small enough to fit inside a rucksack, and a runs on a lithium-ion battery that provides enough power to print up to 500 pages from a single charge.

It weighs 3.1kg, which is roughly equivalent to two of HP's new , and features built-in Bluetooth for wireless printing. The printer currently supports printing from Windows Mobile and Blackberry mobile devices, but not the Apple iPad or iPhone.

The printer is targeted at mobile professionals such as contractors and insurance agents who need mobile printers as they move between locations.

"This will be fabulous for business people on the go, needing to close a deal," said John Soloman, senior vice-president and general manager of HP's printers and personal systems business, speaking at the Global Influencer Summit 2012 in Shanghai.

The Officejet 150 Mobile All-in-One is priced at 399 and is expected to begin shipping in mid-June.
