That's right-- now includes support for Extensions. are similar to Firefox Add-ons in that they allow third-party developers to add new functionality to the browser. Until now, Google's various extensions could only be used with the more advanced Windows version of Chrome.
Other new features include built-in support for bookmark syncing, as well as the ability to "pin" tabs with only their favicon showing, saving a significant amount of space in the tabs area. This update, when eventually added to the mainstream beta version, should bring the Chrome browser more in line with the likes of Firefox and Safari.
