FITC Design + Technology Festival comes to Amsterdam

Geared toward designers and developers, motion graphic artists, digital artists, and anyone with an interest in Adobe Flash and digital media, FITC is coming to Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 22-24 February.

Held at the Felix Meritis, European Centre for Arts and Sciences and the Dylan Hotel, the three day event, two full days and nights, plus one day of optional pre-festival workshops, is packed with presentations, both technical and creative focusing on Adobe Flash, Adobe Flex and Adobe AIR.

Joshua Davis, Lost Boys Interactive, David Carson, Mario Klingemann, Papervision3D, GMUNK, Firstborn, Florian Schmitt/Hi-res and Niko Stumpo are among the respected speakers taking part.

FITC has held 17 events over 7 years, in 9 cities and 4 countries, with over 700 presentations and over 10,000 attendees.

The event is designed to educate, challenge, and inspire while the organisers are keen to stress the networking potential of attending.

Tickets start at € 209, around £180 (US$267), for the 22 February workshop, to € 379, around £330. for the festival and € 449, around £390, for both festival and workshop. Ticket prices rise slightly after 19 February, while a number of free tickets are available to volunteers.
