Far Cry movie at Uwe Boll film fest

Notorious German filmmaker Uwe Boll, best known for adapting several video games franchises to the silver screen such as and , will be unveiling his latest movie based on a game, , this Wednesday.

reports that a two-day-long film festival, the , will be held in Los Angeles later this week on December 17th and 18th, celebrating the director's films while also premiering two new ones: Far Cry, (based on Ubisoft's popular FPS series) and Tunnelrats (a non-video game adaptation set during the Vietnam War).

In addition to Far Cry and Tunnelrats, attendees will also be treated to a marathon of eight other movies by Uwe Boll including , , , , Backwoods, Seed, Heart of America, and Postal. Fans of Boll may want to stick around after the films as Q/A sessions with the director will be held on both dates.
