The Hong Kong sales operation is Facebook's second in Asia following Singapore, said the social networking site, adding that it already works with major brands across Asia such as , the mobile services arm of Hutchison Telecom Hong Kong and pharmaceutical and nutritional products company .

Facebook said in a statement that more than 80 of the top 100 advertisers in the US advertise on Facebook. Currently, the sales team has offices in the US, Canada, Australia, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Sweden, and Singapore, the social networking site added.
