Epson Accredited Partner Meet 2008 held in Paris

Epson's Accredited Partner's Meet has just concluded in Paris, France. In keeping with the location the theme for this year's event was "March de Triomphe" -- a celebration of sorts for the excellent performance of the company. An event which is eagerly awaited by all Epson's key partners from across the country this year's business discussions as usual were combined with lots of fun and games. The business meeting, was held to review Epson's performance for the year 2008 and to discuss the roadmap and strategies for the year ahead. This year partners from all business segments and from both India and the Indian sub-continent joined the meet.

Epson senior management from India and Singapore as well as individual Business Managers presented their road map and plans for the company and their individual product categories. At the meet Epson informed its partners that it would be closing the year 2008 with a market share of about 55% in Dot Matrix Printers, 15% in Inkjet Multi Function Printers, 20% in Single Function Inkjet printers, 60% in Point of Sale printers and 14% in projectors. In each of these segments Epson is among the top 2 players in the country. The aim is to grow substantially in these segments in the year ahead and the growth objectives as well as strategies set were shared with the partners. Epson also provided the partners with an insight into the upcoming market dynamic and strategies they might like to adopt to cope with the changing economic scenario. The presentations provided insights to the partners to help each of them plan their strategies with a view to enhance their opportunities in the current and future market. All the partners acknowledged that the presentations were extremely useful.

The serious part of the meet was followed by enjoyable sight seeing to the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Versailles, a boat cruise down the river Seine and many such events for the partners.
