Dark Void developer hires Portal team lead

08.12.2009
With the company's work on coming to a close, Airtight Games is beginning to prep for upcoming projects, and hiring up with some top industry talent in the process. Kim Swift, best known for her work on (and its student-created predecessor Narbacular Drop), will be joining the company with a Project Lead.

Currently, Swift and Airtight are tight-lipped about future projects. However Airtight President Jim Deal hinted at future plans in a news release, stating "Her addition to the team represents a strategic move by Airtight Games into new and broader gaming markets."

Seeing has how she worked on one of the most inventive first-peson games of this decade, and they've created an entirely new form of cover-based combat, this combination could lead to something even more unique. Dark Void releases on January 19, 2010. We'll keep you updated on that game, as well as Airtight's follow-up.
