Cyclades Corp. has introduced AlterPath Manager, an enterprise IPMI (Intelligent Platform Management Interface) manager that provides a secure path to the IPMI baseboard management controllers on servers or devices from a single, unified interface. AlterPath enables administrators to remotely access IPMI-enabled servers from multiple vendors in order to monitor and manage hardware performance, diagnose problems, and restore network connectivity. The AlterPath Manager E2000 with IPMI Management Package ships with support to manage 5,000 ports, including 64 IPMI-enabled devices, for US$12,790.
