The contract has two extended two-year options and builds on an existing seven-year relationship between the companies which began in May 2000.
BlueScope Steel Chief Information Officer Andrew Baker said the contact will deliver cost savings to the company and allows for the acquisition of new applications and business systems to provide flexibility and capability.
"We have been very pleased with the support, cost saving initiatives and service delivery improvements provided by CSC," Baker said. "This new contract recognizes the benefit of working with CSC and we look forward to continuing our relationship."
CSC Australia Managing Director Mike Shove said it hopes to continue the successful relationship through the new contract.
"Having worked with BlueScope and achieved significant results over the last seven years, we will continue to deliver on price transparency, strict benchmarking, competitive services and a robust governance model to ensure the success of the ongoing relationship."
