CompUSA Inc. has formed a marketing and sales partnership with Xdrive Inc. Privately held Xdrive offers a virtual hard drive that enables members to back up, access, and share files online. CompUSA will market Xdrive Online Storage Kits at its retail locations and via its Web site. The Xdrive service for individuals provides 5GB of storage for $9.95 per month or $99.50 per year; the Xdrive Workgroup service for businesses, which provides 25GB of storage space for up to 50 users, is priced at $99.50 per month or $995 per year. In addition to its automated online backup solution, Xdrive provides subscribers with the ability to access files from home, the office and on the road in an easy and secure way.
