One of the other three revised BMC tools, BMC Service Impact Manager 7.0, starts at $130,000 and includes new capabilities to open service request tickets and then automatically prioritize them based on dynamic business policies determined by the customer, according to a BMC statement. It ships at the end of the summer.

Two other product revisions are BMC Identity Management Suite 5.5, which starts at $40,000 plus a per-user charge beginning at $10 per user, and BMC Server Level Manager 7.0, which starts at about $45,000. The Identity Management Suite ships at the end of the summer, and Server Level Manager ships on Friday.
