It features low-light performance for warehouse, office or night shooting. It also supports live streaming video, two-way audio and real-time alerts to motion detection.

The WVC210 includes simultaneous dual MPEG-4 and MJPEG CODECs for a combination of viewing and storage of video. MPEG-4 is optimal for real-time viewing of video, and MJPEG is designed for large volume storage to a NAS device.

The WVC210's audio capabilities include 2-way Audio, embedded microphone, external speaker and microphone input ports, and voice compression. Other features include support for IP Multicast, Real-Time Streaming Protocol, Real-Time Transport Protocol and 3GPP, which allows users to view video from multiple endpoints and client applications like 3G phones, and Quicktime clients on PCs or Wi-Fi phones, Cisco says.

The camera also supports 802.1p priority, 802.1q VLANs, and Dynamic DNS protocols, which are designed for multiple IP surveillance applications. The WVC210 can also be managed using HTTPS.
