Call of Duty: World at War gets beta update

A week after its private release, Activision has updated the beta of World at War to include new weapons, challenges, and perks.

News of the update came by way of the game's , in which developer Treyarch said the level cap had been raised to 24, giving beta testers access to new weapons, objectives, and perks. New "hardcore" playlists have also been added to the beta, including one called "Search and Destroy," and some unspecified bugs have reportedly been taken care of.
