The Avaya unified communications solution will also help it to attain a high level of operational efficiency and state-of-art customer services.

Scheduled to open in the middle of next year, GTower is situated in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The building is Goldis' latest investment. GTower offers a 'new working concept', which combines CEO duplex offices, open offices, a 180-room five-star hotel, club floor and other facilities, said Avaya.

Holistic environment

"GTower integrates these elements to provide a more holistic and better working environment for temporary, short-term and long-term business people. Avaya was a natural choice for us, not only as a unified communications solution provider but with outstanding green credentials," said GTower executive director Colin Ng.

GTower has been designed to meet the Singapore government's Building and Construction Authority's Green Mark Gold certification (provisional) and is Malaysia's first green certified development. In addition, the facility has been built to Multimedia Super Corridor specifications and a dedicated data centre. GTower will showcase multimedia convergence with telephony, video and data running over the fibre optic cabling infrastructure.
