Harman said Legrand has been "95 percent successful" but customizable interfaces would improve the application.

The company went through the process of converting and transferring Sage data to Legrand via an input field in the new system.

"All sites are using the software successfully - salespeople are using replica databases on notebooks and synchronizing regularly, while head-office staff log into the master database on the internal server," he said.

Staff training was undertaken to ensure application features were maximized. Costs range from A$450 (US$343) per user to A$900 for the Pro edition.
