Mobilfunkbetreiber in den USA wie T-Mobile oder Sprint haben laut Financial Times wegen der Kapazitätsengpässe in den Samsung- bzw. Zulieferer-Fabriken den (Vor-) Verkaufsstart des Galaxy S4 um einige Tage nach hinten verlegt. Samsung erwäge sogar, Speicher-Chips für das Galaxy S4 und andere Smartphone-Modelle von Konkurrenten wie SK Hynix zu bestellen. Das Galaxy S3 war im vergangenen Jahr einen Monat nach dem Launch in Europa in den Verkauf gegangen.
In Deutschland wird das Samsung Galaxy S4 ab kommenden Samstag, 27. April 2013, in den Mobilfunkshops erhältlich sein. Im Fachhandel und in Elektronikmärkten wird es wohl ein paar Tage später auf Lager sein.
