Samsung gets a talking to from the bench, almost two-thirds of the App Store's software might be silent (but not deadly), and there's more chatter about a new iPhone dock-connector port. The remainders for Wednesday, August 1, 2012 are too talkative by half.

Next time you buy a Mac, you'll have the option to pick up iWork for your brand new computer. Apple's now offering Keynote, Pages, and Numbers as $20 each add-ons; that's the same price they go for in the Mac App Store.
