Microsoft and Nokia are both counting on the success of the recently released Lumia 900. Unfortunately, a bug in the phone causes intermittent connection loss. Nokia has promised a fix, but in the meatime AT&T is offering to compensate users with a $100 credit towards service--for a phone that cost $100. Because giving away your products for free is always a good way to...make...money?

The detail-oriented folks at Chipworks found something interesting, having torn down the A5 processor that runs the latest Apple TV: It was fabricated on a 32nm process instead of the current 45nm process used for the existing A5 chip. To translate: It has better performance and lower power consumption. In fact, Chipworks found that the same revised A5 is powering the iPad 2s that Apple currently sells. There's also one free in every box of Rice Krispies--go figure!
