Perhaps the best thing about E3 is the sheer number of never-before-seen games we get to learn about. If the first staple of E3 is gaming, the second is certainly the technology those games are played on. E3 is the quintessential place for game companies to unveil their Next Big Things, be they or . This year, Microsoft set the bar ludicrously high with their announcement of Project Natal (that's pronounced "nuh-TALL"), a controller-less input system for the Xbox 360. After that, it was up to Sony to rally attendees back to the PS3, and the game was afoot.

Ah, but what would an E3 Expo be without a truckload of cinematic trailers for those games we already knew were in development?
