DeVry Inc., a holding company for several institutions of higher education, has appointed Harvey A. Leffring CIO. Previously, Leffring was CIO at Siegel-Robert Automotive, A.B.Dick Co. and Archibald Candy Corp.

Funck Will Lead IT At Broadspire

Patrick Funck has been named senior vice president and CIO at Broadspire Services Inc., which provides insurance claims management. Funck joins Broadspire from CNA Insurance, where he was IT vice president for underwriting and claim initiatives. Previously, he was vice president of IT claims systems at Zurich Financial Services.

Shrader Named CIO at DynCorp

DynCorp International Inc., a project management company, has appointed Gregory V. Shrader senior vice president and CIO. Shrader joined DynCorp in 1985 as one of the first three members of the IT department. Most recently, he was vice president of IT and deputy CIO.

Hines Will Lead IT At PeopleSupport

PeopleSupport Inc., a Los Angeles-based provider of back-office services from facilities in the Philippines, has named George Hines CIO. He will report to PeopleSupport Chairman and CEO Lance Rosenzweig. Prior to joining PeopleSupport, Hines was ChaseCom LP's executive vice president of operations and chief technology officer.

Todd Made CMGI CIO

Josita Todd has been hired as CIO at CMGI Inc., a provider of marketing and distribution software. Todd will report to CEO Joseph C. Lawler. Previously, she was vice president of IT at Thermo Electron Corp. and Abbott Laboratories' pharmaceutical products division.
