Xbox 360 dominates most-rented games of '08; PS3 not on list

has posted the results for the top 10 most frequently rented video games of 2008. In , which was compiled by Rentrak, seven of the ten games that were rented the most last year are for the Xbox 360. The remaining three titles are for the Nintendo Wii, leaving the PlayStation 3 entirely absent from the top 10.

It shouldn't come as too much of a shock that Grand Theft Auto IV turned out to be the #1 most rented game of 2008, but there are some interesting results from the data released. The rather underwhelming Army of Two came in at #5 and the year-old Mario Party 8 made the list in the #10 spot.
