Wii Fit Plus out 10/4, replacing Wii Fit

At this year's GameStop Managers conference, Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime revealed the details of the company's follow up to one of the biggest-selling titles on store shelves, .

will be coming to the Wii on October 4th of this year, in two separate retail configurations. The game will be sold in a $100 bundle that includes the game and Wii Balance Board, and in a $20 standalone package.

Since Wii Fit Plus includes every exercise present in the original, twenty new ones, customizable routines, and a calorie counter, the usefulness of the original is called into question. To that end, Nintendo announced that Wii Fit Plus will be replacing the original on store shelves.

The original Wii Fit released in May of last year, and tens of millions in sales.
