This initiative, of a non-bonding scholarship, is aimed at contributing to the development of human capital in Malaysia, according to Danny Lee, HP Malaysia country general manager, personal systems group, and Kevin Ho, AMD Malaysia country manager.

The three winners of the 'Are You The One?' contest are Ayappan A/L Palaniaandy, Lam Joo Ee and Ong Li Teng. They each received a scholarship worth RM25,000 (US$6,884) in cash and one unit of HP Pavilion tx2520au Entertainment Notebook.

Two other winners for the special award category were Soo Gian Wan and Yusof Abd Manaf. They each walked with a HP Pavilion tx2520au Entertainment Notebook.

Overwhelming response

"This meaningful programme is a great collaboration between HP and AMD," said HP's Danny Lee. "We are delighted with the overwhelming response that we have received and we would like to congratulate all the deserving candidates."
