This Wooden NeoGeo Isn't a Toy

If you love retro games, and consider your love of them to be more of a lifestyle, then have we got the status symbol for you. A small company called has appeared and debuted their custom-made, walnut-encased .

The Consolized MVS (CMVS) has a similar shape and functionality as SNK's original NeoGeo home console, but exclusively plays arcade, or "MVS" cartridges (to keep the markets separate, SNK made the home and arcade cartridges different sizes), and seeing as those arcade cartridges cost much less money than their home counterparts these days -- double-digit dollars rather than triple or quadruple -- this makes a nice all-inclusive option for the most dedicated SNK fans. Component video jacks make it easy to hook up to an HDTV as well.

The wooden beast isn't as cheap, though, as it will $649 (not too far removed from the old NeoGeo's launch price, actually), but that's no problem for you, right? You probably already have a great spot for it in the cabin of your yacht.
